with Diana and Acteon, on a base with the Medici coat-of-arms, two serpents and grotesque masks, with an iron support

Inventory of L. Bernheimer, at Palais Bernheimer, Lenbachplatz, Munich.

Condition

In overall good condition. Both are dirty and would benefit from a clean. The spear of Acteon is slightly bent as visible from the catalogue photograph. There is evidence that formerly there was possibly a previous fixing at his feet.
