Condition

The marble is a fragment from a larger architectural object. There is dirt to the surface throughout, including plant residue, in particular in the crevices. There is weathering to the surface throughout, consistent with placement outdoors. There are several losses, in particular to the edges and high points, including one side of the scroll. There are several further chips. Otherwise the condition is stable.
