Condition

Overall the condition of the pilaster is good, with dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. There are losses to the bottom section, and to both breasts. There is weathering to the surface, consistent with placement outside. There are a few chips and abrasions, including to the nose. There are a few stable naturally occurring fissures to the limestone, notably an area with some fill above the proper left breast. There are several dirt marks, in particular red marks to the right edge. There is particular dirt to the back.
