Condition
Overall the condition of the stone is good, with dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. There is weathering consistent with placement outdoors, leading to minor flaking of the stone in a few areas. There are losses around the bottom edges. There are several remnants of a composite material to the stone, notably around the lower left corner, the far right side, and at the top. There are several chips and abrasions, notably around the bottom edge and corners. There are smaller chips and abrasions to the carving, including to the flowers and fruit at the top, to the foliate bands at the centre, and to the scrolls at the top corners. There is particular dirt to the scroll at the top right corner.
