Condition

Plain column and shaft: There is weathering to the surface throughout, consistent with placement outdoors. There are several chips and abrasions to the edges and corners. There is dirt to the surface, in particular encrusted dirt to the shaft. Otherwise the condition is stable. The two sections are held in place with a large wood dowel. Bulbous columns: There is weathering to the surface throughout, consistent with placement outdoors. There is some encrusted dirt to the surfaces. There are losses to the top of one shaft and to the top of its base, to the bottom of the other shaft, and further losses around the bottom edges. Otherwise the condition is stable. A piece of string with a metal tag is attached to each of the columns. The shafts slide into their bases with metal dowels.
