Condition

Overall the condition of the marble is good, with dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. There is dirt to the surface throughout, including dark staining and white residues. There is also some weathering to the surface, consistent with placement outdoors. There are several chips and abrasions to the outer edges, including a minor loss on the right side, and there are further chips to the high points of the carving, and notably a loss to the putto's forehead. There is a metal mount at the top.
