Catalogue Note
Yuan Jinhua graduated from the Zhejiang Academy of Fine Arts (now the China Academy of Art) in 1988. In 2009 he received a PhD from the China Academy of Fine Art, where he currently serves as Director of the Portrait Studio. His work was included in the 2009 exhibition of Chinese art at the Library of Congress, US Asian Cultural Academy and American Folk Center for the Arts.
