together with a French transfer printed papier-mâché box, circa 1900, the sides with C. B. Sociéte Française De Cotons à Coudre, Paris, E.P.

Condition

Both with old marks and scratches and wear to both. Losses to paint on the sides of the toffee tin. Some spotting to gilt-decoration. Papier-mâché box with rim chips and rubbing to transfer printed decoration.
