Condition
Colour:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the red is richer in the original. The catalogue illustration also fails to fully convey the glossy and slightly textured nature of the resin visible in the original.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. Extremely close inspection reveals very thin and unobtrusive tension cracks running intermittently along the extreme outer edges, and two very faint rub marks and media accretions towards the lower left corner. Visible only in raking light are a few extremely shallow surface scratches isolated in the resin. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultraviolet light.
