Condition
Colour:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is deeper and richer in the original.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. The sheet is attached verso to the mount in several places. Extremely close inspection reveals a tiny speck of loss towards the centre of the upper left quadrant, and a short and unobtrusive tear to the left edge, approximately 40cm from the upper left corner. All other surface irregularities are in keeping with the artist's choice of medium and working process.
