Arabic manuscript on paper, 28 leaves plus 4 flyleaves, 7 lines to the page, written in bold muhaqqaq script in black ink, the word 'Allah' picked out in gold throughout, verses separated by pointed gold roundels, 2 surah headings in gold thuluth within polychrome panels, numerous illuminated marginal devices, opening double page frontipiece in colours and gold, with text in alternating black and gold script within cloud bands, contemporary brown morocco binding with polychrome filigree doublures and gilt-stamped tooled boards, with flap 

Condition

In generally good overall condition, binding slightly worn and spine repaired, some losses to doublure decoration, occasional smudges and stains, pages generally clean and ink bold, thumbed, occasional paper repairs, as viewed.
