Description

the faceted brass hilt with gently curving pommel leading to extended langet and spreading quillons with palmette terminals, the watered-steel blade with fullering and flat-back edge, inscription cartouches to forte 'bande ye- shah-e velayat 'abbas' and 'amal-e Asadullah', later velvet-covered wood scabbard with brass openwork chape

Condition

In good overall condition, points of terminals missing on quillons, light areas of patination to blade, scabbard with some ware to velvet, as viewed.
