of cylindrical form with hinged lid, the body with thick calligraphic band on a vegetal ground with silver-inlaid leaves, the lid with stylised rosette enclosing calligraphic roundel

On loan to the Institut du Monde Arabe, Paris, February 1998-March 2000.
Condition
In good overall condition, hinge repaired, some knocks and minor dents, base element replaced, silver-inlay on lid remaining 50%, and body 10%, as viewed.
