Description

each piece painted with flower garlands hanging from puce and gilt ribbon borders, with powder blue bands at the rims, comprising a milk jug, a sugar bowl and cover, ten teacups and saucers and eight coffee cups, interlaced LL marks in blue containing date letters for years between 1772-1777, various painter's marks, including B for Jean-Pierre Boulanger (active 1754-85), nq for Nicquet (active 1764-92), P7 for Jean-Jacques Pierre le jeune (active 1763-1800), a musical quaver note for Antoine-Toussaint Cornailles (active 1755-1800), Nicolas Catrice (active 1757-74), L for Denis Levé (active 1754-93, 1795-1805), a fleur-de-lys for Vincent Taillandier (active 1753-90), four dots for Pierre-Théodore Buteux (active 1765-84)

Condition

Minor wear to gilded rims. Three coffee cups cracked and riveted, another with small footrim chip. Two teacups with riveted handles.
