Description

with a rectangular gilt-bronze banded top inset with a tooled red and gilt leather top above a frieze drawer flanked on either side by two short drawers opposing dummy drawers, the knees mounted with a stylised Indian mask on cabriole legs and hoof feet, the sides mounted with a male mask, the whole inlaid with diaper motifs
Condition
In overall good conserved condition. The right side and the back are faded and would benefit from a repolish according to taste. The gilding on the gilt-bronze banding on the top is tarnished and would benefit from a clean. The gilding on the mounts has partially been regilt. The drawers appear to have the sides relined in walnut.
