Provenance

The crest is that of the Fernandez de Cordoba Family of Escandon from whom the service was purchased by the current vendor.

Condition

The lock of the case engraved "Odiot, Ofevre a Paris". The central brass plaque engraved with the same crests and garter as on each plate. Each plate with first standard Minerva mark. Also incuse stamped "ODIOT A PARIS 2649". A few plates with bruises to the centre. Chased and embellished decoration is crisp. The gilding is of good colour. Slight losses to edges of bases. Vary levels of surface scratching. The case is in good condition for age.
