de forme ovale, flanquée de deux anses plates arrondies moulées de motifs géométriques, le pourtour du bassin intérieur souligné d'une frise d'arabesques, restaurations

Acquired in China prior to 1935 (by repute).

Condition

The ear cup has been broken in two parts and restored. One ear has been broken in several pieces and restuck, with a 1.5 x 1 cm triangular chip on the edge that have been restored. There is a ca. 2.5 x 2 cm rounded chip on the rim that has been restored. There is ca. 1 cm long restored chip on the rim at the start of a ca. 4 cm crack with an associated perpendicular crack starting 1.5 cm from the rim. There is a ca. 0.3 cm hole pierced on the side, 0.1 cm from the rim, next to a ca. 4 cm crack. There are malachite incrustations inside and on the base.
