de forme balustre aplatie, l'épaulement et le pied évasé soulignés d'une bande de leiwen, couvert d'une patine verte et brune

Provenance

Acquired in China between 1894 and 1922.
Thence in the family by descent.

Condition

The vessel is light in weight and with thinly cast sides. The x-ray reveals that there is a ca. 11 x 3.5 triangular part broken out of the rim and restored. There is a ca. 8 x 1.5 cm crescent-shaped part of the foot broken into several pieces and restored. The bronze has patinated to a light green colour with some traces of encrustation and is smoothly polished.
