Condition
The canvas is not lined. Close inspection reveals some vertical lines of hairline craquelure running intermittently near the right edge and the upper left edge, and one vertical line in the centre of the composition beneath the green boat. There is some minor abrasion to the upper edge and a few scattered fly spots in the buildings in the centre of the background. UV light reveals a 5cm strip of retouching in the upper right corner and some small dots that fluoresce around the edges and in the sea. Otherwise this work is in very good condition.
