Condition
The canvas is not lined. There are abrasions and losses to the edges. Close inspection reveals a 2cm vertical repaired tear above the roof in the upper left corner, and scattered minor surface scuffs and losses. Under UV light, several small areas fluoresce including: a cluster of dots in the upper left corner, an intermittent thin line of retouching running parallel to the lower part of the left edge, and a patch beneath the horses feet in the central foreground. Overall this work is in stable, fairly good condition.
