Condition

The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration although the overall tonality is less bright in the original work. The work is executed on its original canvas and is not relined. One small indent located 10 cm from the left edge and 8 cm from the lower edge is only visible under close inspection. One tiny area of superficial hairline cracks is located by it and another one on a white impasto on the lower right corner. One small tear to the canvas, 48 cm from the right edge and 14 cm from the bottom edge, is visible in the catalogue illustration. Under Ultra Violet light inspection, there is no evidence of restoration. This work is in very good condition.
