Oil on canvas, canvas is lined. Surface: In generally good condition; a small area of stable cracquelure in the foreground (beneath the children). UNDER UV: Areas of in painting along lower edge in beach in foreground, along upper edge, a few scattered dots in sky and horizon line and a 4 1/2 inch vertical line of inpainting (possibly a repaired tear) to the immediate right of the nearer couple. Figures and signature are clean.
