Condition

Canvas is lined. SURFACE: in fairly good condition; craquelure throughout (looks stable); retention of color, pigment and detail is good, although surface has been somehwat compressed from relining. UNDER ULTRAVIOLET: goldfish bowl and flowers, head of the dog and upper left backgroud are pretty clean; however, restoration throughout the rest of the painting (much of it craquelure fill-in).
