Canvas is lined. SURFACE: good condition. UNDER UV: figure is clean; a few minor scattered repaints in background (to the right of her head, along right edge, and lower left corner).

The present painting was used to illustrate Brown & Bigelow's 1955 Calendar. The model, Myrna Hanson, was Miss USA in 1954 and Elvgren's favorite model.
