Condition

Overall very good condition with typical wear from age and use. Areas of restoration to the brown at the center sides and also in the center panel. The long side selvages possibly re-wrapped. There a small number of stitches to the floral embroidery only that are lighter in tone and are restored; this can be clearly seen using the zoom feature on sothebys.com. Embroidered panels at the top and bottom are in excellent original condition. Dye analysis from David Wenger available from department.
