Provenance

Sotheby’s New York, The Collection of Barry Friedman, November 19, 1992, lot 246
Acquired from the above by the present owner

Condition

Overall in good condition. The model shows minor surface dirt and a few shallow surface scratches. The model has four elements presently detached, including an elevated walkway, and appears to be lacking a few small elements to attach two of these losses. Although lacking a few small elements the integrity of the model remains intact. With evidence of very minor glue residue that appears from the original construction and not a later restoration. A wonderful full sculptural model that encapsulates Breuer modernist architectural vision. ---
