Condition
Overall in very good original condition. This is a wonderful form when viewed firsthand with a number of intricate details that enhance the overall presence of the work. The material is a clay that has been applied to a metal base. The result is a higher texture and finish throughout. There are some minor irregularities to the surface as seen in the catalogue illustration that are inherent in the material. The top of the table with air bubbles, inclusions, seams and some larger irregularities inherent in the production. The top with some surface scratches and one area of discoloration, measuring 4 inches in length that appears the result of liquid, consistent with use. The lower portion of the leg with surface scratches and minor abrasions. A wonderful design that encapsulates the Clay title given to the work by the artist.
