Condition
Overall very good original condition. The chairs has acquired a beautiful patina from light exposure to the elements from outdoor use intended by the artist. The surfaces with minor scratches and a few light abrasions consistent with age and gentle use. The gilt surface is worn, showing the natural tone of the bronze throughout. With evidence of minor oxidation, some surface discolorations, and light surface dirt visible in the catalogue illustration. Each of the chairs present with three holes to the seat inherent in the making, to aid in draining water when used outdoors. A wonderful design exemplifying the artistÂ’s naturalist influence.
