Condition

Overall excellent condition. This work displays the extraordinary collaboration of the Gertrud and Otto Natzler. The bold shape and deeply modern shape shows wonderful scale when viewed first hand. The glazework with great nuance and brilliant coloration in the Tiger Eye reduction glaze that imparts a truly painterly quality on the vase. When examined under blacklight there is no evidence of prior restoration. The coloration of the vase when viewed first hand is slightly more saturated in contrast to the catalogue illustration. There are a couple of minute surface scratches at the widest portion of the vase body that are only visible on close inspection. A rare and wonderful minimalist form that is heightened by the rich nuance and range of hues in the glazework. ---
