Condition

Overall in very good original condition. The surface with a few isolated and very minor abrasions and shallow surface scratches consistent with gentle handling. Some minor areas of discolorations and minor oxidation to the metal, concentrated in the recessed areas, as seen in the catalogue illustration. The surface was originally gilt and the original gilding still appears to the underside of the base. Minor evidences of polish residue to the recessed areas of the body, also visible in the catalogue illustration. One of the handles is slightly bent, to side shown on the left in the catalogue illustration. The interior with light surface dirt and traces of oxidation. A great example of an iconic design by Hoffmann, displaying superb proportion and attention to detailing to the surface. ---
