Catalogue Note

The Objets Nomades installation was first staged by Louis Vuitton at Design Miami in 2012.  Three years later, at Milan Design Week in 2015, the French fashion house unveiled seven new additions, including the offered lot, within the opulent interior of the Palazzo Bocconi.  The portable furniture and accessories were all inspired by the theme of travel and paid homage to the house's special orders of the past 'such as the iconic Bed Trunk or Wardrobe Trunk' whilst adding 'a defiantly contemporary spirit'.
