Condition

Paper laid on board which is flat and ensuring a stable support. There are several pinholes visible along the four edges of the picture, probably due to old framing. Some faint water stains, which are rather small compared to the size of the work, are visible to the upper left corner, and there are some very minor spots of paint flaking notably to the lower edge of the composition. Nevertheless, the overall appearance of the work is very good and colours and bright and there are no visible signs of restoration visible under ultra-violet light. The work is ready to hang. Presented glazed, in a gilt frame.
