the blue and white enamel dial with Roman and Arabic numerals, the twin train movement with the Japy Frères seal, modeled with an allegory of the adoration of Bacchus and decorated on both sides

Condition

Impressive scale. Gilt bronze with oxidation, losses to gilding exposing dark bronze beneath due to rubbing and wear, spots of verdigris, surface dirt. Some pitting to gilt bronze due to atmospheric conditions. Screw securing pitcher to one hand is lacking. Enamel dial with some small chips around winding holes. Please note that we do not guarantee movements. Lacking backplate.
