Catalogue Note
The present three piece table garniture is very closely related to the monumental carved marble fountain known as Miroir d'eau, la Seine et ses affluents, that Larche first presented in plaster at the Salon des Artistes Français in 1910 for which he received a médaille d'honneur. The accomplished project can be admired today in the Jean Perrin square close to The Grand Palais.
