Condition

The canvas has been relined. Ultra-violet light reveals an even, relatively opaque varnish and a number of clustered very small spots of retouching, primarily in the red pigments of the peaches and towards the edges, and the paint surface has a somewhat thinned appearance overall. The painting is ready to hang. Presented in a decorative gilt frame.
