Condition
The canvas has not been lined. Ultra-violet light reveals no notable signs of retouching (under U.V. light the surface fluoresces somewhat unevenly in the sky, however this certainly appears to relate to the varnish layers or artist's pigments rather than corresponding to retouching). This work is in good, virtually original condition and could likely benefit from a light surface clean if desired.
