Condition

Overall the condition of the bronze is good, with minor dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. There are a few minor nicks and scratches, including to the drapery around the proper right thigh. There are a few areas with greening, including to the crevices of the hair and the drapery around the proper right foot at the back, to the top of the base, and to some of the engravings on the pedestal. There is some rubbing to the patina at the high points, including the nipples and the tip of the nose. A few original casting pins are slightly visible, notably to the chest, and an original bronze insert is slightly visible at the proper right shoulder.
