Condition
The surface of the marble is worn, either due to weathering or due to over-cleaning. Related to this there is a yellowish hue to the marble in areas, including in the flowers, at the boy's back and buttocks, and in the tree trunk. There is veining to the marble throughout, consistent with the material. There are minor naturally occurring inclusions throughout. There are a few chips and abrasions to the edges of the base and there are black dirt marks. Two of the proper right fingers are restored. Otherwise the condition is stable with dirt and wear consistent with age.
