Condition
Overall the condition of the marbles is good with minor dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. There are a few small chips, including to the top of Diana's diadem and to one of the locks of hair in the knot above Apollo's fringe on the proper left side. There is minor wear and scuff marks to the noses. There are some more minor abrasions to the edges and backs. There are a few small naturally occurring inclusions in the marble, including to Apollo's brow and nose. There is veining to the marbles consistent with the material. There is wear to the socles throughout, including small chips and abrasions. There is a restored break running through one of the socles, and a restored corner to the other.
