Condition
Overall the condition of the bronze is good, with minor dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age, including dust. There is minor rubbing to the patina at the high points, and in particular to a section of the spear. The spear detaches from an opening in the horse's back. The man's shield is slightly loose. There are a few scratches, in particular around the horse's tail and to the woman's chest. A circular bronze insert is visible on the shield. The bronze may slide on the marble base as it is not attached at the back.
The marble base is in very good condition with minor chips and abrasions to the edges.
