Condition

Overall the condition of the marble is good, with some dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age, with particular dirt in the crevices. There is veining to the marble throughout, consistent with the material. There are several chips and abrasions, notably to the edges of the bands around the bottom. There are a few light scratches, including to both shoulders and to the truncation at the back.
