Condition

The canvas has been lined. There is a faint and stable craquelure pattern in the sky and to her dress (nothing to the faces). The surface is clean and the work appears in good overall condition, ready to hang. Under ultraviolet light there are areas of infilling to the above mentioned craquelure and an area of retouching near the upper right edge and further cosmetic flecks across the surface. Held in a gilt plaster frame.
