Catalogue Note

An album from a tour of India and the Far East, which includes 5 or 6 photographs of Chinese interest, including: a Chinese Amah and child, opium smokers, a rickshaw with passenger, a view of Hong Kong from the Peak, and Golden Island (?) near Zhenjiang. The other images comprise 15 hand-tinted portraits and views in Japan by T. Enami and others, 18 of India and 5 of Burma and Southeast Asia.
