Condition

• Under naked eye: the panel is cradled. An horizontal crack running to approx. 25 cm from the left hand edge in the upper part is visible on the photography. Another horizontal crack is going from the right hand edge above the girl’s hat (approx. 15 cm) is also visible on the photography. A thinner horizontal crack is going from the left to the right edge. A few very tiny losses are visible especially in the corners and along the edges. The painting is dirty • Under UV light: The horizontal crack crossing the panel has been retouched and a crack starting from the boy’s shoulder (approx. 32 cm) has also been retouched. A few tiny repaint are scattered over the surface
