The painting is in a good state of preservation. It has been relined, more than fifty and so years ago. It is slightly strong, and the painting surface has been a little flatten. Under a dirty varnish. We can notice some restoration in Mercury’s hand and caduceus, on the top; some points in the cloud under Mercury ; in the center angel’s legs and bottom, and finally in the angel’s foot, at the bottom, on the right. Under the UV light : under a green uniform varnish. We can notice restorations previously mentioned.
