Condition

Marks, nicks, scratches, abrasions, and chips consistent with age, ritual handling, and exposure. Surface is weathered with age cracks throughout, and charred in places. Whorls and knots in the wood on reverse. Old surface losses including an area on the front of the figure, now patinated over. Fine aged patina with encrusted remains of ritually-applied material. Fixed permanently to metal base plate with two pins embedded in the foot.
