Condition

Good condition for an object of this type and age. Marks, nicks, scratches, and abrasions consistent with age and use. Back of head is restored, with glue. Vertical age cracks. Open age crack down the spine, and a wedge shaped loss between heels on back of integrally-carved plinth. Losses to outer edge of charge material surrounding mirror. Fine glossy reddish brown wood patina with encrustation and remains of white kaolin.
