Description

carved with the arms held away from the body and slightly forward, wearing a dance apron painted with a snake motif, an animal skin cape, case mask with long beard, painted with a narrow strip of diamonds representing teeth, terraced elements enclosing the eyes, and ears inserted with wood pegs; red, pink, yellow, brown, black and white pigments.

Condition

Good overall condition with slight wear from age including minor abrasion, a small chip on the case mask as well as a very minor hairline split (stable), also a small chip on the back of the right moccasin.
