Partial, very minor craquelure. Minuscule tear in the upper, left corner.
Minor retouchings visible under uv-light, most notably in the face, the hair and along the edges.

Catalogue Note
Ein gewichtiger Teil von Ankers malerischem Werk waren Auftragsarbeiten, so auch unser Bildnis, welches seit der Berner Ausstellung 1960 erstmals wieder der Öffentlichkeit zugänglich ist. Bestellungen kamen häufig von mit Anker verbundenen Kunsthändlern, welche Kunden an den Maler weiterverwiesen. Pauline Imer-Févoz zählte vermutlich zu Ankers Bekanntenkreis, gemäss Therese Bhattacharya-Stettler "wohlgesinnte, wohlhabende Bürger (vor allem aus Bern, Solothurn, Neuenburg und dem Elsass".[1] So entzückt die junge Dame in unserem schönen Portrait standesgemäss durch ihre elegante Kleidung, die kostbaren, goldenen Ohrringe sowie die adrett gebundene, fein-bestickte, rote Halsschleife.
