Description

inset with 1 poltina silver coins of Emperor Peter I (dated 1721), Empress Elizabeth Petrovna (1755) and Empress Catherine II (1767), the handle and reeded sides with cabochon garnet-set fleurons, struck with workmaster's initials and Fabergé in Cyrillic, 88 standard, scratched inventory number 431

Condition

The surface with evidence of having previously been gilt. The raised areas of the roubles slightly worn. The underside of the base with surface scratches consistent with age. The handle with a previously repaired horizontal stress, still secure.
